An App on your PC needs the following windows feature:.Net Framework 3.5 (Includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)

 When trying to do an offline installation of the dot network 3.5 and 2.0 package in Windows 8 or Server 2012 you receive the below error:

How to install .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 8 &Windows Server 2012:

Run the below Command;

dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /all /Source:d:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess

Note: Source should be the Windows installation disc. In my case, this was located on D:
